Rain.. Rain & More rain !
Ok it's persistanty pissing it down ! LOL Ive dusted off an old game called The incredible machine its now freeware so get it or be square. If u can't find it ask me nicely & i mite send u a copy ;) Ok got a visit 2 my mum & a early start 2moro, have 2 b @ Micks b4 noon so i am going 4 a 8am start 4 the drive down the road. Wondering
Managed 2 spend 2/3rds of Monday in the forest park before the rain came down. Then stopped off @ some nice trees on the way back. Loads of oaks in tight circles. I feel like I'm waiting 4 things 2 happen now. The job app & seeing Peter again. I've managed 2 hurt 1 person but there was not a way round it. I am just not ready & don't ken when I mite b. 1 week on
It's just over 1 week since I left my house. It has flown by not realy done much but I am hopeing that I get a chance with the warden job. Should hear about it next week. Ive got a bit of unwind time then a trip 2 get my son & bring him up here 4 a week. There mite b a trip 2 Loch Lomand as well. PLEASE !! Off 2 my mums later will try 2 get a walk in b4 then. Sorry for the lack of posting I have been getting the caravan settled into its home for the next few weeks. Been enjoying the starry skies, going for walks, seeing my mum & ......... I've just send off the application form for the job at Loch Lomond. So if you are into crossing fingers etc now's the time to do it. LOL Tomorrows my birthday, my 40th birthday... SCARY !! I am going to spend the last bit of it at my mums. I'll try & update you on the joys of it all tomorrow nite. Bye 4 now. |

Made it!
I am moved @ 4.30pm I left my old house with all bar 1 box of my life either in the caravan or in the boot of the car. Max mph is about 55. So far there has been snow, rain & a bit of wind & that was just inside the car. Next task is 2 find somewhere 2 park 4 the nite. I am near Dumfries on the A75. How many Transit van loads!!!!!
Well there were 2 very full ones sent to the dump "for recylcing"!! This got the highlight of the day award which was watching the helpers fight over some old xmas crakers. Another van load went to my ex's. There was another load to a friend & I managed to get to bed for just after midnight. Up @ 7am to get the van back St Helens. Picked up Peter & off to the little Thief/Chef for bacon rolls. Once fed we we off to the house to do the, hopefully, final battle. We managed to get another car load to the dump. & have I hope sorted out all the leftovers into a final dumping pile, a final friends pile & a CARAVAN PILE !!!! I've managed to keep access to the house untill tomorrow 9.15am so that allows me a bit longer to the caravn packed & sorted out before I hit the road tomorrow. Well that a quick up date for now.. I have some pics that I will post of Peter & me bursting some bubble wrap whick I'll add a lnk to once I get them off my phone.. The signals crap just now. OK that's me for now... All quiet !!
Its so quiet NO pcs on! I'm just about ready 4 the stuff 2 go 2moro am, only 1 bit left 2 clear. Then its decisions on wot 2 take in the caravan, wot 2 leave, wot else 2 bin or give away. Its a brill way 2 declutter. But not much fun. Oh well, I'd better go 2 my bed 4 the last time until I get a new home 4 a new bed that is. I hope that things start 2 improve & move from here. OK some news & changes
I am going to park the caravan (a pic) at a friends house near Glenuce now (map). Well its cheaper that a site & a good excuse to chat with an old friend.
I've had to fill up the oil tank, cost just over £600 !!!! arranged to hire a van to get the house emptied on Wednesday - with Peter's help.
That leaves Thursday to do a final tidy up & then I'm in the caravan full-time for the foreseeable future.
OH... nearly forgot !!!
I am going for this job, basically looking after some trees, a visitor centre, various visitor parties. It's on the quiet side of Loch Lomond. (map1 map2 map3) it would give me a free house surrounded by .... TREES !!! Talked to the people & there seems to be a chance of getting in there for an interview. March the 14th is the close date for the application. So I'll keep you posted. I think this is their website (Link)

All systems & furniture are go go go !!
Well, I now know that I have until 10 am tomorrow morning to sort out e.g. empty all the furniture. The full list of the stuff to go is:
- Settee
- Arm chair
- 2 X desks (use for PC's)
- 2X Computer chairs
- Bureau
- Double bed
- Single bed
- Big Wardrobe
- 2X Chest of drawers
- 2X Chairs
- Wooden Cabinet
- Small Chest Freezer
- 1/4 size pool table
This means a bit of a mad dash today to get everything emptied & movable. But it will be Peter's last nite here as a lack of bed was the agreed cut off point with his mum. Also the ADSL dies today :(( so no more fast net for a while.Things still to be sorted:
Kill all utilities
Hire a van to get rid of other crap/stuff/leftovers.
On the positive I've agreed where I am taking the caravan for the next month. It will be just outside the village of Sandhead, near Stranraer in Wigtownshire. (Map)
OK.. time for a KOFFEEEEEE then shift myself in to at least 1st gear.

4 days left until..........
Firstly HI there !! Well it's a good place to begin @ the end of one place/location/home & the, hopefully, finding & begining of another. Along the way I'll be looking at what interests me & decideing what I'm going to be doing with myself regarding work, R&R & other general things that have to be delt with. There will be travel & experiances along the way, no doubt there. OK that's a start. I will need to see how often I update this. I've never been good at keeping these kind of things in the past. I will see if I can keep this updated via my mobile. I'll also try & post some nice images of my travels.
